Team Civil was engaged to conduct the following:

• Stripped approximately 100 mm of the existing ground surface and disposed of all materials offsite.
• Removed all bitumen within the project area (maximum thickness ≈ 50 mm) and transported materials offsite.
• Constructed a new rubble access track using 150 mm of PM2/20 RG material, supplied, placed, and compacted to specification.
• Prepared the base by boxing out unsuitable materials and disposing of them offsite.
• Supplied, placed, and compacted a 150 mm PM2/20 RG base course.
• Graded the new surface to fall away from the existing building to ensure effective drainage.
• Completed final trim works to achieve design levels and finish.
• Early removal of unsuitable materials reduced rework and led to improved base compaction, while optimised grading enhanced site drainage and reduced future maintenance requirements.
