Team Civil delivered the civil package for the Energy Logistix development at Creswell Road, Largs North. The project involved bulk and detailed earthworks, ground improvement, pavement construction, and preparation of structural and external elements to strict design tolerances. All works were supervised and delivered in compliance with engineering specifications, geotechnical requirements, and site safety standards.
Scope of works performed:
Supervised all engineering aspects to ensure compliance with design documentation, WHS requirements, and the FMG Geotechnical Report (excluding car park ground improvement).
Completed bulk earthworks, excavation, fill placement, ground improvement, and site remediation to achieve the required design levels and profiles.
Prepared the warehouse building pad to 20mm below the underside of slab and the office raft slab area to civil/structural specifications, ready for footing excavation by others.
Prepared external hardstand areas, tank slabs, footpaths, and landscaped areas to nominated design levels.
Constructed flexible pavements to carpark areas including kerb & gutter, kerb, spoon drains, and 40mm asphalt surfacing.
Constructed two (2) new crossovers between properties and supplied construction water via the existing 50mm service with multiple site connection points.
Prepared retaining wall base levels and backfilled and compacted to specification.
Maintained a clean, well-presented site throughout the works.
Successfully achieved tight tolerance requirements, enabling a seamless transition to structural trades.
Reduced settlement risk through quality compaction and subgrade preparation.
