Mistletoe Park Retention Basin

Team Civil recognised that there were two main high risks for this project, pedestrians/cyclists movements and close proximity to the River Torrens. As part of the mobilising process Team Civil developed a pedestrian/cyclist management plan and installed a series of signs along the paths, in both directions, temporary directing pedestrians & cyclists to alternative routes during the works. At the same time our work crew installed sediment fencing along the River Torrens bank, parallel to the works, to prevent stormwater laden with sediment entering the river during rainfall events. In addition our supervisor for the works inspected the fencing on a  daily basis and after rainfall events to ensure the fencing was functioning as required.
