Multiple Sites - Myponga Reservoir and South Para Reservoir

Team Civil was engaged in the provision of civil works to facilitate the Opening Up Our Reservoirs Project at Myponga Reservoir and South Para Reservoir.

Scope of works performed:

As part of the Opening up Our Reservoirs Program Team Civil was engaged to construct the following infrastructure at Myponga & South Para Reservoirs:

Myponga Reservoir

  • Install a new carpark, including stormwater infrastructure (swales, drains, etc.).
  • Install fencing around the carpark (including vehicle access gates) and for the management of traffic and pedestrians.
  • Installation of SA water-issued bike racks.
  • Grating system over water outlet to prevent public access.
  • Construction works associated with the installation of a self-sufficient toilet block.
  • Construction of 90m of walking trails from the lookout to the fishing area.

South Para Reservoir

  • Install a new carpark, including stormwater infrastructure (eg. swales, drains, etc.).
  • Install a buoy line, including anchor blocks.
  • Installation of SA Water-issued bike racks and picnic settings.
  • Construction works associated with the installation of a self-sufficient toilet block.
  • New access turnabout to new toilet block.
