Scope of works performed at Selgar Avenue were as follows:

• Mobilise to site and set up temporary facilities.
• Engage Bardavcol’s surveyor to peg the extent of the works.
• Supply and installation of DN300 PVC-M, DN150 DICL, DN300 & DN100 DICL (Tyton Lok) mains including all associated fittings, fixtures, joints, thrusts and property connection in accordance with design drawings.
• Supply and installation of stop valves, gibault joints and fire plugs in accordance with design drawings.
• Construction of thrust and anchor blocks in accordance with SA Water standards.
• Supply of concrete and reinforcement for thrust and anchor blocks.
• Supply and installation all marker tape, mastics, grouts, bandaging, wrapping materials and backfill material.
• Backfill of trenches in accordance with SA Water standards.
• Provision of testing and quality documentation in accordance with DIT specifications, SA Water specifications and Australian Standards which include and not limited to the following:
  i. Concrete testing for thrust and anchor blocks.
  ii. Pressure testing.
• Connection to existing water main including cutting/capping of now redundant portions.
• Clean up of work areas upon completion of works.
• Supply of shoring boxes when conducting deep excavation beyond 1.5m.
• Supply of vac truck when excavating around active services.
• Removal of excess spoil off site.
• Provision of 3 Weeks’ notice to Bardavcol prior to works starting in areas containing services requiring third party involvement (SAPN Network Access Permits, APA spotters, etc.).
• Protection of adjacent works.
