Warramunda Crescent Drainage Upgrade

On behalf of the City for Tea Tree Gully, Team Civil installed a new 160m drain along Warramunda Crescent. The works included the installation of DN300 reinforced concrete pipe, junction boxes, side entry pits, lateral drains and reinstatement of the pavement with asphalt.

Scope of works performed:

The works associated with the Warramunda Crescent Drainage Upgrade works included the following, but not limited to:

  • Stakeholder Management of all areas of works, including communication to residents.
  • Implementation of environmental management processes, ensuring potential stormwater issues were addressed.
  • Implementation of traffic management ensuring minimal impacts to residents during the works.
  • Service locating and notification to Utility providers such as Telstra and SAPN, with existing infrastructure.
  • A construction methodology was developed and implemented, ensuring existing services infrastructure was not impacted by the new works.
  • Open excavation trenching up to depths of 3 metres to enable installation of new DN375 RCP drainage pipes.
  • Installation of 15+ Side Entry Pits (precast & in-situ poured), replacement of approx. 50 metres of kerbing and full reinstatement of road pavement (including profiling of the pavement).
  • Completed As-Constructed drawings, materials data report (MDR), construction and network verification quality outputs, material certification, etc. submitted to tea Tree Gully Council on completion of the project for all sites including lot management.
