Power Project Highlights

BMX TRACK LIGHTING PROJECT | TEA TREE GULLY COUNCIL

We completed the project for Tea Tree Gully Council, installing a new set of lights so they can race BMX’s at night, the scope of works included the calibration and testing of the lighting.

BALFOURS & SPOTLESS ACCOMMODATION WORKS

Works completed for DIT (Department for Infrastructure and Transport) at, it was small project for DIT as part of the R2P project we modified the existing carparks and installed new electrical infrastructure for Balfours & Spotless so they could divert the roads to connect to R2P.

REGENCY 2 PYM STREET (R2P) WATER MAIN

As part of the R2P early works Team Civil were engaged to relocate, disconnect water and sewer mains in the south road corridor on behalf of Mc Connell Dowell for SA Water.

GLENTHORNE WATERCOURSE WORKS | DEW

On behalf of DEW (Department for Environment and Water) Team Civil was engaged to construct a new watercourse with a series of basins (sediment, ornamental and a biofiltration) in the new Glenthorne National Park

FINGER POINT MAIN CONDITION ASSESSMENT | SA WATER

On behalf of SA Water team Civil was engaged to conduct a condition assessment of the Finger Point Sewer Main, which involved the excavation of sections of the sewer main and conducting NDT testing to determine the level of corrosion on the sewer main.

Reservoir Projects

Team Civil has been exclusively for the last 3 years installing new infrastructure in reservoirs as part of SA Water’s opening up our reservoirs program. SA Water with SA Government have been systematically upgrading the reservoirs to allow the general public to access to the reservoirs, infrastructure installed includes toilet blocks, shelters, BBQ facilities, bike and walking trails, boardwalks, pedestrian bridge, sealed and unsealed carparks, upgrade of a dam spillway, extension to existing toilet blocks, etc.

The reservoirs that have been upgraded as part of this program are as follows::

  • Warren and Bundaleer

 

Reservoir Project Highlights

HAPPY VALLEY RESERVOIR

As part of SA Waters commitment to opening up reservoirs to the general public, we constructed new carparks, toilet blocks, walking trails, a pedestrian bridge and a boardwalk at Happy Valley Reservoir.

 

MYPONGA RESERVOIR

We have conducted works for Myponga in 3 stages (the latest was a variation to Happy Valley Reservoir Project), this project included construction of an unsealed carpark, wooden jetty structure, rock lined watercourse, access roads and pedestrian bypass

SOUTH PARA RESERVOIR

As part of SA Waters commitment to opening up reservoirs to the general public, we installed a new culvert crossing that spanned the South Para River which included a fishway, rock armouring of the structure and upgrading of the access track.

Cathodic Protection

Works performed include:

  • SA Water sole sourced Cathodic Protection contractor since 1993 and specialist panel member
    since 2012
  • Kangaroo Island TWM CP upgrade inclusive of Impressed Current System (SA Water)
  • Port Road TWM CP upgrade inclusive of Impressed Current System (SA Water)
  • Morgan to Whyalla CP Upgrade for the Spencer Gulf TWM Crossing inclusive of Impressed Current System (SA Water)

Vertical Drilling of anode beds for an Impressed Current Cathodic Protection System for the Kangaroo Island TWM Cathodic Protection upgrade.

Team Civil Managing Director Nick Valenzisi has worked on a number of DPTI projects prior to the buyout of Team Civil.

DARLINGTON ROAD UPGRADE | DPTI

Road Lighting, Traffic Signal and Intelligent Transport system (ITS) underground conduits and pits installed on the Darlington road upgrade for the Department of Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI). Managed by Nick Valenzisi whilst working for Gateway South.
